Support for Research and Evidence Based Practice Projects

The Dean Hayden Resident Research and Evidence Based Practice Grant is available to residents conducting research and evidence-based practice projects. The grant awards up to $5,000 and is open to residents meeting the following criteria:

Nurse anesthesia resident in good academic standing
Member of the AANA
Program Administrator or Research Advisor’s letter of support
Anticipated value of your research findings for nurse anesthetists

The above criteria should be addressed with:

Completed abstract
Anticipated value of your research findings for nurse anesthetists
Copy of institutional investigation committee/review board approval or exemption
Program Administrator or Research Advisor’s letter of support
Budget with justification for expenses

Special areas of note: The abstract, impact statement, and letter of recommendation are critical components of the application. The AANA Foundation Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject an application without review if any component is missing or unsatisfactory.
