Wade T. Magel, CRNA, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Pella, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
Wade was born on June 23, 1949, and grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. He spent most of his career as a CRNA in Pella, Iowa. He retired early, and then enjoyed traveling in a motor home. He drove it to 48 states. In the winters, Wade and Lee Ann stayed in Naples, Florida, at Silver Lakes Resort where Wade found his happy place in the sun.
Wade loved to have a good time. He was a master storyteller and could make us all laugh. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann, daughter Alison (Taylor) Wilson, son Nathan (Rei) Magel, and stepson Jared (Amy) Nichols, and one sister, Paula (Fred) Gibilisco. He loved his five grandchildren: Norah, Harper, and Finley Wilson, and Graham and Remi Nichols. Wade was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Margene; and two brothers, Neil and Gaylon.
