June 10, 2024 Todd W. Herzog, 73, passed away on June 5, 2024, in Kennewick, Washington. Todd W. Herzog was born on August 18, 1950, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to William W. Herzog and Doris M. Herzog. Todd graduated from Liberty High School in 1968. Todd enlisted in the United States Navy in 1971, where he completed Hospital Corps School and Nuclear Medicine Technology programs. Todd went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1975, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Anesthesia from George Washington University in 1984. Following retirement from the Navy, Todd started Pacific NW Anesthesia Services and practiced clinical anesthesia until his retirement in May 2017. Todd was a member of the Washington Association of Nurse Anesthetists (WANA). He served as a member and past president. He was also a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA). He served on the AANA Board as Region 5 Director from 2007-2009; Treasurer, 2010-2011; and Vice President, 2011-2012. Todd married Margaret (Marge) Gorzelic on April 3, 1971, in Bethlehem. The couple had two children, Kimberly Anne Anderson and Matthew Todd Herzog. Todd loved golfing, traveling, and treasuring his friends and family. Todd is survived by Margaret (Marge) Herzog -wife, of Kennewick; Kimberly Anderson – daughter, and Eric Anderson – son-in-law, of Richland; Garrett Matthew Anderson – grandson; Jillian Hailey Anderson – granddaughter; Hannah Katherine Anderson – granddaughter; and Genesis Anne Anderson – great-granddaughter. Todd is preceded in death by William Herzog – father, Doris Herzog – mother, and Matthew Todd Herzog, son. The service for Todd Herzog will be held on June 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 506 S. Garfield St., Kennewick, WA. 99336. Burial will be held on June 12, 2024, at Cherry Grove Memorial Cemetery at 22272 Foss Rd., Poulsbo, WA. 98370.
