Ruthe Eraker Graybeal, CRNA, 45, of Woodinville, Washington, unexpectedly passed away on February 7, 2024. She will be greatly missed by her children, Theo and Jillian Graybeal; her husband, Randy Graybeal; her parents, Steve and Sarah Eraker; her sister, Liz Palley, and her husband, Miles; her sister, Debbie Thenutai, and her husband, Justin; and her brother, David Eraker, and his wife, Kristen; and her nieces and nephews who adored her, Russell, Eloise, Henry, Penelope, and Jack.
Ruthe was a passionate soul who was an esteemed member of the nurse anesthetist (CRNA) profession and a tremendous ally and champion for the LGBTQIA+ community. She spoke up on behalf of others that needed a voice of support — she was a trendsetter who had an eye for the next big thing and a natural connector of people. She was a beacon of community, support, and love.
Outside of the patient care system, Ruthe was a vibrant and active member of the Eastside parent community — she was seen across Lacrosse, Swimming, Drama, Soccer, and Water Polo practices and events while whisking her kids around to support the things they loved. She had tremendous love for her family pets, Gibson and Winston. She loved her friends and they loved her so much.
Her family would like to extend their appreciation to Ruthe’s friends and professional network who have reached out with their support and for sharing their loving memories of Ruthe. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to causes that Ruthe cared deeply for, including Free Mom Hugs, Lambert House, and Washington Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Please also consider supporting Crisis Text Line.
