January 18, 2024 Nancy Elizabeth Foreman, CRNA, age 65, of Kirkwood, Missouri passed away at 6:05 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2024, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Big Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Rensselaer, Missouri. Rev. Nathan Markley will officiate. Burial will be in the Big Creek Cemetery. A second visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Nancy was born on March 28, 1958, in St. Louis, the daughter of Dr. Phillip B. and Priscilla L. (Hammond) Foreman. A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and “little friend,” as her father referred to her. She is survived by her mother, Priscilla Foreman of Hannibal, Missouri; her siblings, Susan Humphreys (Jim) of Hannibal, Missouri, David Foreman (Pam) of Springfield, Missouri, Carolyn Evanovich (Evan) of Pittsburgh, and Katrinka Arthaud (Brent) of Sutton, Massachusetts; nieces and nephews Ryan, Jonathan, Laura, Blake, Jayci, Skylar, Derrick, Devan, Taylor and Lauren; great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Phillip B. Foreman. Nancy was a thorough, precise CRNA at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis for thirteen years, until her passing. She previously worked at the hospitals in Springfield and Joplin. Nancy was a strong-willed lady who was known for being an entrusted CRNA, Jack of All Trades, constant teacher, and mentor. She was very generous, a photographer at every gathering and a devout Christian who loved spreading the Word of her Lord and Savior Jesus. Away from work, Nancy achieved her pilot’s license and enjoyed traveling around the world, with Israel being her last trip. Most of her trips included scuba diving with underwater photography. Medical mission trips were something near and dear to Nancy’s heart. She has been on mission trips to Tanzania, and the Mercy Ship twice each, also to Honduras about twenty times, at times working alongside her father, Dr. Phillip Foreman. Nancy was a member of PEO Chapter IN and was a former member of Big Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Pallbearers will be Nancy’s nieces and nephews.
