Judith A. Suket, CRNA, age 80, passed away on October 1, 2023. Judy was born in Milton, Massachusetts to Ralph E. Suket Sr and Mary Jane (Hall) Suket. Raised and educated in Quincy, Massachusetts, Judy graduated from Quincy High School in 1960, went on to study at Lynn Hospital School of Nursing, and earned her master’s degree at Lesley College in 1986. She was a pioneer in the nurse anesthetist field. She was a clinical instructor at the Quincy City Hospital School of Anesthesia and head nurse anesthetist at Mass Eye and Ear for many years until retirement.
Judy was an active parishioner at Saint Francis Xavier Church. She was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the Prayer Shawl Group of Saint Francis. She was a member of the Weymouth Garden Club, and the former president of the Altrusa International Club in Quincy. Judy adored animals, especially her pets, they were like her children. She was an active member of the Yankee Golden Retrievers Club, and volunteered for many activities at Linden Ponds.
Judy is predeceased by her beloved dog, Storm, and her siblings, Ralph “Sonny” E. Suket Jr. and Mary Uvanitte. Survived by her loving cat, Patches; her sister, Jane West; and her husband, Robert, of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Raymond West and his wife Beth, of East Bridgewater; Jean Burgoyne of Marshfield; Jennifer Benton and her husband, Edwin, of Lakeville; John Suket and his wife, Fabie, of Marshfield; Paul Uvanitte of West Virginia and her six great nieces and nephews.
