The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) has been recognized by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) with a 2024 Gold Circle Award in the New Product/Service Launch category.
ASAE recognized AANA for its interactive career exploration platform, MOTION, launched in 2023.
The Gold Circle Awards competition is the premier association marketing, membership, and communications award program that recognizes excellence, innovation, and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership, and communications campaigns and activities.
AANA is dedicated to ensuring that Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), also known as nurse anesthesiologists or nurse anesthetists, have the tools they need to continue providing safe, effective, efficient, and compassionate care. To this end, and to be the transformational leader driving innovation and excellence in healthcare, AANA partnered with MedGeo Ventures to launch MOTION, a comprehensive career exploration platform exclusively for CRNAs and residents. MOTION is a member-only benefit that empowers CRNAs and residents to take control of their career journey with the most jobs in one platform, better data for better career choices including researching workplaces in a map-based format with rich geographical and community data, and messaging and one-click applications to apply directly to roles and customize notifications.
As the only national association representing CRNAs, AANA’s mission is to advance, support, and protect nurse anesthesiology. Products like MOTION support AANA members as they make important decisions about both their professional and personal lives.
Entries for the Gold Circle Awards competition are judged consistently in each category based on criteria established by the ASAE Gold Circle Award Committee for excellence in association marketing, membership, and communications programs. This year’s competition received more than 150 applications across 16 categories, including convention/meeting campaign, member retention campaign, print magazine, and video.
