AANA and Parkdale Center for Professionals Partnership

In October 2018, the AANA and Parkdale Solutions, LLC, entered a partnership to enhance the services offered to CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists and Residents who suffer from substance use disorder (SUD) or who have colleagues, friends, or coworkers they suspect of diverting drugs or of impairment due to drugs/alcohol. Parkdale Solutions, LLC, is the sister company of Parkdale Center for Professionals, which is a dual diagnosis treatment center created by Peer Assistance Panel member and CEO Rodrigo (Rigo) Garcia, APN, CRNA-ret., MBA, MSN, ACIT, FANNA following AANA recommendations for professionals in the early stages of recovery.

Throughout the years this partnership has expanded to include,

The 24-hour live, confidential, AANA Helpline (800-654-5167) answered by addiction professionals to improve access to help for SUD.
Improved access to care by a validated treatment provider.
Reduction in variability in the support received.
A formalized collaboration with AANA on education, treatment, aftercare, and reentry considerations specific to CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists and Residents.

Is the AANA Helpline Confidential?

Yes, support is confidential. Information provided by anyone contacting the AANA Helpline (800-654-5167) will be shared only with the caller’s knowledge and for the purpose of facilitating support. Anonymous demographic data is collected for reporting purposes only. Please note that all AANA staff and volunteers are required to comply fully with all applicable state laws regarding mandated reporting.
