I have been attending AANA meetings since I was a resident. Through my time at these meetings, I have met CRNAs from all over the country. I have become friends with trailblazers both past and present in advocacy, leadership, education, and business. It is through SHOWING UP to these invaluable networking opportunities afforded by AANA that I have been able to “peek behind the curtain” to learn about differences in CRNA practice throughout the country. Secondly, by GETTING INVOLVED in AANA committees, I have had a unique opportunity to discover what all goes into the work AANA does tirelessly to promote CRNA practice in every aspect.
