We’re Happy to Help
Contact us for guidance on the group non-prior or prior approval application processes for providers.
We celebrate the educators and providers responsible for the development of high-quality education programs for CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists.
It is the program provider’s responsibility to apply for Class A credit for prior approval and ensure credit reporting of a continuing education (CE) program, regularly scheduled anesthesia in-service program, or a provider-directed independent study program they want to provide at a future date.
For more information, contact continuingeducation@aana.com.
If your program has been approved for CE credit from another recognized approval organization, you can apply for Class A credit even after it was held.
Continuing education application fees increase on Sept. 1, 2023. Learn more.
Credit recording from programs that are prior approved by the AANA is the responsibility of the program provider. Carefully review the Program Provider Responsibilities below before beginning one of the two credit entry processes available within the CE Portal, which includes Import via an Excel file or Manual entry.
For more information, please contact continuingeducation@aana.com.
This application is for providers who are applying to AANA for Non-Prior Approval for a program after it was held. The group Non-Prior application is to be used for continuing education (CE) credit if the activity was not prior approved by the AANA, but was approved for CE credit by another recognized approval organization before the start of the program.
See instructions. These instructions are also available in the CE Portal.
For more information, please contact continuingeducation@aana.com.
The CE Calendar of Events will help you find dates and contact information for CE programs that have been prior-approved for Class A CE credit by the AANA.
Advertisers who list their prior-approved CE programs in the Calendar of Events enjoy wider exposure for their approved programs, as the $180 listing fee includes a duplicate listing on the AANA website. Additionally, the web address provided in the advertisement will be hyperlinked directly to the website, allowing viewers access to company and program information for more exposure and target-directed traffic.
The publication schedule, along with associated submission deadlines for listings, is available in the CE Portal during the application process. The advertisements are requested and paid for during the application process in the CE Portal.
