Become a Friend for Life

Leave a meaningful, lasting gift to the AANA Foundation through the Friends for Life program. Your donation helps fund and sustain programs that further research and education in nurse anesthesiology.

Criteria for Membership

Membership in the Friends for Life program is open to those who include the AANA Foundation in their will or estate plans at a minimum of $25,000 or make a cash gift or pledge of $25,000 within a five-year period or a planned gift of $25,000 or more which may include one or more of the following and must be provided to the Foundation in writing:

• Designation of the AANA Foundation as beneficiary in a life insurance policy, retirement plan or other financial instrument
• A bequest in a will or in a revocable trust
• Participation in a life income program (such as a charitable gift annuity, deferred payment gift annuity, or charitable remainder trust)
• A charitable lead trust
• Gift of appreciated property such as securities, real estate, and tangible personal property
• Cash installments over a five-year period

Important message regarding upcoming program changes:  Please note that the minimum planned gift will increase to $35,000 on Jan. 1, 2025.

• Engraved crystal name plate on the Friends for Life recognition wall at AANA office

• Recognition in the AANA Foundation Annual Report
