Watchful Care – A History of America’s Nurse Anesthetists was written by Marianne Bankert and published over thirty years ago.
The AANA Foundation funded the creation of Watchful Care, Volume II, authored by Paul Warden, PhD, which picks up where the award-winning Watchful Care – A History of America’s Nurse Anesthetists left off.
From the 1990s to the present day, Watchful Care, Volume II, follows the exciting progression of the nurse anesthesia profession and illustrates that CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists are expert clinicians, researchers, innovators, and integral members of healthcare teams.
This book inspires and educates on some of the most important world events of recent times and includes:
- illustrations,
- assessment questions; and
- a comprehensive list of presidents of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists from 1990 to 2020
